Nikon Coolpix S8100 belongs to the Coolpix S series of point and shoot cameras. This digital camera uses CMOS sensor, which have a resolution of 12.1 megapixel. The NIKKOR ED glass lens of the Coolpix camera provides 10x optical zoom and has focal length of 5.4 mm - 54.0 mm. The 35 mm equivalent focal length of the camera is 30 mm - 300 mm.
