This point and shoot camera is perfect for casual photographers out to make a fashion statement. Belonging to the Lumix FP series, this compact camera is packed with modern technology and user-friendliness, thus assuring a fun and interesting experience. The Lumix DMC-FP7 has a focal length of 6.3 - 25.2 mm, which translates to a 35 mm equivalent of 35 - 140 mm.

You can bridge the distance between yourself and a faraway object using 4x optical zoom and an additional 4x digital zoom. The camera is built with a CCD sensor and lets you capture fascinating images at 16.1 megapixels. You can also record precious memories in HD at 1280 x 720 pixels (24 fps).

Slender and sophisticated, the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP7 camera fits effortlessly in your pocket, bag or purse. The front of the camera has a lens cover which turns the camera on as you slide it open. The rear panel is solely dominated by a wide 3.5 inch TFT LCD touchscreen that lets you slide, sweep, touch and click your way through photography. This 230,000 dot resolution touchscreen enables you to control the auto focus, zoom, shutter and scene selector by a mere touch of the finger.

An ideal companion for the social butterfly, this Lumix camera makes sharing snaps on social networking sites easy. All you have to do go to Upload Set option in the playback menu and select the photos and videos you want to share. Once the selection is done, connect the camera or memory card to a computer and sit back as your memories are shared with the world.

This Lumix digital camera runs on a Venus Engine VI image processor with Intelligent Resolution technology. With the multiple aspect ratio feature, you can click images in 4:3, 3:2, 16:9 and 1:1 aspect ratios.

Battery and Storage

This Panasonic point and shoot camera has an inbuilt memory of 70 MB, which can be expanded using SD, SDHC or SDXC memory card. To transfer images onto a PC or laptop, you can connect the camera via high speed USB 2.0 port. The camera runs on a rechargeable Li-ion battery pack which clicks up to 240 images per charge.
