The DSC-W570 belongs to the Sony W Series of digital cameras. This Sony camera uses the CCD sensor with a resolution of 16.1 megapixels. The Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens of the compact camera has the focal length of 4.5 - 22.5 mm and 25 - 125 mm in the 35 mm equivalent format. You can zoom your Sony camera up to 5x optically and 10x digitally.

This Cyber-shot camera weighs 116 g along with accessories and battery, and is counted amongst the slimmest Sony cameras, with a thickness of just 19.1 mm. This Cyber-shot camera is capable of shooting HD videos at the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels (30 fps).

The DSC-W570 comes loaded with BIONZ processor. The camera supports 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios. This Sony camera has a 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD display with the resolution of 230,000 dot pixels.

Battery and Storage

The rechargeable Lithium ION Battery powers this Cyber-shot camera.You can take 220 shots with your Sony camera at a stretch as it can last for 110 minutes in a single charge. To increase the storage space of the camera, SD, SDXC and SDHC memory cards can be used. This Cyber-shot camera also supports Memory stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo and Memory Stick PRO Duo.

The shutter speed range of this Cyber-shot camera is 2 - 1/1,600 seconds for you to capture the fast-moving objects. This Cyber-shot camera has an in-built flash that ranges between 0.2 - 3.7 m (Wide) and 1.0 - 1.5 m (Tele).
