The Sony HDR-CX150E is a video camera, which can shoot videos at a resolution of 1920 x 1080 (Full HD). The HDR-CX150E video camera has a 1.57 megapixel still camera and is powered by BIONZ image processor technology. The camera has a 1/4-inch Exmor R CMOS Sensor. This Sony Handycam supports MPEG-2 and AVCHD movie formats, Dolby Digital 2 channel audio format, and JPEG image format. The video camera also has speakers and built-in Electret condenser microphone with zoom function. The HDR-CX150E uses Electronic (SteadyShot with Active mode) image stabilization software.
