This mirror-less camera provides many important features of a DSLR camera, but in a more compact body. The camera is powered by BIONZ image processor and has an Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor with 23.4 x 15.6 mm dimension. Sony Nex-5K is a 14.2 megapixel camera and supports aspect ratios of 3:2 and 16:9.
Body The Nex-5K weighs 229g and has dimension of 110.8 x 58.8 x 38.2 mm. Instead of a Viewfinder, the camera utilizes a 3-inch TFT screen with Xtra Fine LCD and TruBlack technology. The screen has a resolution of 921,600 dot pixels and can be tilted by 3-inch to take pictures easily. This Sony camera uses the Memory Stick PRO Duo/PRO-HG Duo for storage, along with SD, SDHC and SDXC memory card. The Nex-5K comes with NP-FW50 battery which can take up to 330 pictures in one charge.Performance The Sony Nex-5K can be mounted with Sony E-mount lens.
