The Samsung Chat C3222 is a Dual SIM (GSM+GSM) QWERTY phone featuring a 2.2 inch display. The C3222 is the first Dual Standby SIM device from Samsung to sport a QWERTY keypad. The Dual SIM Standby mode allows you to receive calls from both the SIM cards without manual switching .

The Chat C3222 features a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4X digital zoom. It can also capture videos at 15 fps. The Samsung C3222 supports web access via the Access NetFront 3.5 browser and supports Facebook and Twitter access. The Multi Instant Messenger app aggregates MSN, Yahoo and Gtalk chat clients.

Battery and Storage

A 1,000 mAh battery powers the Samsung Chat C3222 and gives 12 hrs of talktime. The 45 MB of internal memory on the phone can be expanded up to 8 GB via microSD card slot. The Samsung Chat can store up to 1000 phonebook contacts and text messages.

Multimedia

The C3222 features a music player with DNSe 3D sound technology for an enhanced acoustic experience. The FM Radio with recording capability allows you to save on-air songs in MP3 format. The Samsung Chat C3222 supports 64 polyphonic ringtones and MP3 format. The device comes with a 3.5 mm audio port that allows you to use any generic headphones. The mobile is preloaded with Java games and animated wallpapers.

Connectivity and Features

Connectivity options on the Samsung Chat C3222 include GPRS, EDGE, Bluetooth v2.1 and microUSB port. The phone can connect to a PC for file sharing via the NPS PC Sync Application.
