The Elm is a candybar handset from Sony Ericsson's Green Heart Range. This 3G phone from Sony Ericsson is manufactured with minimal CO2 emission and is made from recycled plastic that is free from hazardous chemicals. The Elm ships in a slimmer packaging and features a emanual instead of a printed one.

Design

The Elm sports a typical candybar chassis with a sleek matt panel and large convex buttons. The rear of the handset is made into a smooth convex bulge for a more comfortable grip. Despite being crafted from recycled materials, the Sony Ericsson Elm doesn't look or feel cheap.

Sony Ericsson Elm comes with built in Wi-Fi , A-GPS technology, HSPA high-speed mobile network data connectivity and a full array of multimedia features. The Elm features Sony's Noise Shield' technology, which blocks out background noises, so you can have clearer conversations. The Sony Ericsson Elm comes with the SensMe feature, which displays your music on a graph of happy/sad and fast/slow, and TrackID, which can identify songs based on a short clip.
