Products Description The Sony Walkman NWZ-S543 is a portable mp4 player with a 2.4-inch QVGA LCD display. The display supports 262000 colors for vivid and color-banding free images and videos. What separates the Sony Walkman from the slew of MP4 players is a set of hi-fidelity stereo speakers on either ends of the display. Apart from the generic audio and video playback capabilities, this Sony Walkman packs several utility features like Alarm, Sleep timer and a Voice recorder.
Design The Sony Walkman music player sports a compact metallic chassis which renders added durability. The square design with straight lines improves grip and gives a comfortable fit in your pocket. A handy kickstand on this Sony Walkman allows you to rest it on a surface for hands-free viewing/listening. The button layout on the NWZ-S543 includes a five-way D pad with the Back and Options button intersecting it at the top. This allows for quicker navigation and switching tracks without having to take the Walkman player out of your pockets. The bottom spine of the Walkman houses the 3.5 mm and the USB port. Battery and Storage The Sony NWZ-S543 Walkman comes with 4 GB of memory and holds 500 songs (approx). A USB-rechargeable Lithium-Ion cell powers the music player and gives an impressive 42 hours of continuous music playback. If you choose to listen through the speakers, the player gives a playback time of 17 hours. The Walkman music player takes 2 hours for a full recharge but can be charged up to 80 percent within an hour of being plugged in. Video playback time is approximately 4.5 hours. The Dynamic Normalizer in the Sony Walkman maintains a consistent volume across varying recording levels. The FM tuner supports auto scanning and store up to 30 stations for instant access. The Sony Walkman music player will play MP3, AAC-LC, WAV and WMA audio formats. The NWZ-543 can play QVGA (240 x 320) resolution videos and accepts AVC, MPEG-4 and WMV formats.
