The Spice M-5500 is a stylish touch and type transformer series phone packed with communication and entertainment features. The Dual SIM (GSM + GSM) phone supports an alphanumeric keypad which allows smooth texting. The M-5500 has a 2.36-inch QVGA touch display that gives you an amazing viewing experience while handling the phone.

A resistive touchscreen is made of 3 layers and requires you to put pressure on it to sense the area of touch. The resistive touchscreen in the Spice M-5500 works with any pointing devices like stylus, pen, or even nail. The use of pointing device makes the touch screen usage more accurate.

You can store images and music files on the Spice M-5500, which has an embedded memory of 110 KB and is expandable up to 4 GB using microSD or microSDHC cards. The phone can store 1000 contacts in the phonebook and 500 SMSes in the inbox.

The phone comes loaded with a music player that lets you enjoy your favorite songs stored in the Spice handset. The sturdy phone also supports an FM radio which keeps you updated with the new releases playing on the air waves. You can also record your favourite shows played on air through the schedule FM recording.
